The Assessor-Clerk-Recorder offers drop-off services to allow customers to hand-deliver their documents and requests. Most of our drop boxes are available 24 hours, seven days a week, except for our downtown Riverside-CAC location (only available during regular business hours).
You can use the drop box to submit requests that you would otherwise submit in-person or by mail, including:
Check, cashier’s check, and money orders – no cash
You will usually get your document back in about a week. We usually process your document the next business day. Most orders we mail out the same day it’s completed. We hold recorded documents for an additional couple of days to ensure proper preservation before returning the original to you.
It is recommended you include an envelope with paid postage for faster delivery.
